"I like a small hole in the walls because they are never disappointed. as much as I wanted to try her carne guisada, I hunted a burger. I have a child share and it is a homemade, non-frozen, patty. that is rare! it was amazing! and it came with homemade pommes that is always a plus. I like that they were not seasoned when they were homemade and they have no own season mix, I have nothing to do with seasonality. there was only one server for the entire restaurant, so she took one because to make the rounds, but she was friendly and made us feel welcome. I can't expect to come back and try the Mexican plate and carne guisada! park: some places"

"Being Chicano I am vouching for this place for the best menudo I've come across at a restaurant. The meat was cooked to perfection! The broth had just the right flavor. For some reason I had to ask for cilantro and oregano but they brought it to mepromptly. The corn tortillas were certainly made fresh. Topped a big bowl off with a barbacoa taco. It's always a good sign whenthere is a line of people waiting to get in and most of them are elderly! I will come to this Cafe every time I am in town now.Loved the small hole in the wall experience. Don't miss this one if you're close bye"

I think it's just from Appointment. In a pandemic, if there is NOT much family (together activities) this place has covered you! I think if you're in the Rio Grand Valley, it's a (must go to) place! "The table was sticky/dirty, there were crumbs still on the booth seat, and my Significant Other stepped on a chunk of bread that was under the booth.The hostess cleaned the table when I mentioned it.My SO ordered the ribs, which we're so dry he couldn't eat more than a few bites.I ordered the chicken strawberry salad, the chicken was dry as a bone and the vinaigrette was too tart for me to eat much of it.Likely the server didn't notice we ate only a few bites of our meals as no comment was made about it, which was disappointing. Though the routine how was everything was asked, my SO was hesitant to mention the inedible meals/ask for replacement food, having heard restaurant retaliation horror stories. So we just paid and will not becoming here again."

"This is cake shop is a MUST! Note only is everything they make super delicious, the prices are very reasonable. If you like lemon bars, you have to try these! My wife's favorite cupcakes are the lemon blueberry cupcakes, usually available in the spring. Service is great here, paying is easy with receipts email-able or hardcopy."
