"Our experience at the restaurant started off well as we received our drinks and placed our order for the 2 for $30.00 deal with a salad. However, despite the waitress saying our food would be ready shortly on two occasions and even bringing us a second cup of tea (indicating how long we had been waiting), after 30 minutes we still had not received our food, not even the salad. Our waitress seemed to have disappeared and when we informed a nearby busboy about the situation, he just looked at us blankly. We finally inquired about our server and after he went to the back, he never spoke another word to us and continued with his work. Meanwhile, the table behind us, who arrived after us, had already received their appetizers. After over 45 minutes of waiting with no food in sight and our server nowhere to be found even after speaking with the busboy, we decided to leave. As we walked out, I saw our server finally emerge from the back and go straight to the table behind us. It was my birthday and my friend of 61 years was treating me to dinner and a movie, but unfortunately, our server's lack of attentiveness and slow service ruined the celebration. It was also mentioned that it happened to be our server's birthday, which she commented on several times to us and her other tables. I hope she enjoyed her day, but unfortunately, she pretty much ruined mine."
