"wacky comfort eating place in the city of white river junction. very funny colorful decoration and interesting dining options, but like most dinge about this place, their vegan friendliness is a gimmick. Menu options are clearly identified as gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, etc. However, no dish is purely vegan - all vegan-labeled dishes must be modified and according to my opinion not satisfactory. for example, they have a taco that is vegan, but has cheese and if they take the cheese, it is just a bland tortilla with something green - not much of a taco in my opinion. or the roasted plantain star is vegan marked, but comes with a chocolate dipping sauce that is not vegan (thank you I have double checked with the staff before eating the staff also has little to no knowledge what vegans can/not eat, so the order was a very frustrating experience. I tried to drill one of her burritos with her chickpeas and black and that was really just that. no greens or some fresh in this tortilla - only roasted potato, beef and some eclig sweet sauce, which like the cheap maize syrup sweet and sour sauce they tasted with chinese. everything was too fat, too fat, and it lacked fresh and real taste. after so much hype to hear this place, I was thoroughly disappointed and would not recommend it to any vegan."
