"At about 7:50 P.M, I ordered a sub online and started picking it up. Halfway through, I had to be somewhere else, so I called and said I was late; I wasn't even sure if I would be there before the time ended, so I told them they could leave it outside if I didn't make it. It was 9:50 before I pulled into the parking lot, and I saw no sandwich bag everywhere. I wasn't disappointed – I knew I had a chance not to come before the time was finished. Then, the window of the car next to me rolls down; it's an employee, keeping my sandwich, going soon to ask if it's my order. His name was Bestnik, and he waited FIFTY minutes after the closing time, two HOURS after my order was called to give me the order. When I asked him why he stayed so long, he said: “I just didn’t want someone to take it.” I've always loved Jersey Mikes for their sandwiches, but I've never seen service like this before. Bestnik made my night and reminded me that there are good people in this world who go the extra mile, even if they are not told to do this. If that doesn't deserve a promotion or bonus or a tip (he said he couldn't take any tips, not sure whether corporate policy or if it's the fact that he's just an exceptionally good person), then I don't know what to do."
