"I should have ordered sushi instead. I got the seafood yaki soba and while I was pleased with the waitress and her attentiveness, I was not happy with my meal. The seafood included 5 shrimp, 2 scallops (cut in half), and a 3-inch piece of imitation crab (also cut in half). In my opinion, no restaurant should be rated higher than 2 if they serve imitation crab. The shrimp were overcooked and lacked flavor, the scallops were colorless and tasteless, and the imitation crab speaks for itself. The noodles were decent. On the other hand, my 11-year-old daughter enjoyed her salmon hibachi with no complaints. I would like to give this place 3 stars for the exceptional service, but the quality of the food brings the overall rating down."

"Very likely the best ice cream you 'll ever eat! This is real ice cream that is made on site daily. Depending upon the flavor you order, you 'll find it LOADED with chocolate chunks, or nuts, or other ingredients. The portion sizes are generous! There are lots of flavors to choose from, and our family favorites include Chocolate Pecan, Graham Central Station, Red Skies at Night, Spouse Like a House, Grape, Coffee Chocolate Chip, and more! The are like thirty flavors of ice cream, with a few more that enter the rotation. The locations are open year round, and it isn 't unusual to see lines of people in the summer, and a few hardy souls will come out even in the coldest winter days to get their fix of Handel 's ice cream. There are lots of locations in the Mahoning Valley, where the company was founded, and now Handel 's has branched out with franchise locations in Pennsylvania, Texas, and even California! If you haven 't been to one before, get yourself a cone or a cup. (Be sure to leave a tip for the counter staff... they are nice young people and they 're on their feet all day)"

"Aladdin’s offers unique and delicious food options. I highly recommend trying the turkey salad with tahini dressing on the side. The turkey is flavorful and you can opt for chicken on top as well, but the turkey is my preferred choice. As someone with celiac disease, I appreciate that the food is gluten-free and have never had any issues. They also offer gluten-free cheesecake that is sealed in a box and made elsewhere by Orange Avocado, ensuring it is safe for those with gluten sensitivities. The service is always friendly, with a warm greeting every time we visit. The restaurant is clean, with only two restrooms that are well-maintained. Overall, Aladdin’s is a great dining option."

"Had an absolutely wonderful time, Vernon never seems to surprise me. His staff was totally brilliant and the food top notch. The expresso and chocolate martinis were excellent, Chicken francaise, that I was very impressed, not excessive lemon flavor was perfect. One of the best meals I had, and last year and half and when I say I make reviews I make reviews. Only under 3 million views. Thank you. Vernon the Calamari was very well prepared and not to mention, instead of just a marinara he had a different sauce not sure what it was I think it was like a Saraki sauce or something and it was perfect for the Calamari"

"i made reservations early really wanted to sit in back dining room. when we arrived for a 430 dinner there were a lot of open tables that they said were committed. So we sat in the bar by the door which we entertain guests from out of town and really we’re hoping not to sit there"

"I ordered takeout for four people twice in three weeks from this restaurant, and the food was excellent both times! The men ordered burgers with loaded fries and said they were prepared exactly as requested and were delicious. My sister and I both ordered salads, and I have to admit that the ribeye salad is the only item on the menu that I have ordered three times now. It's so delicious with their spicy ranch dressing that I can't bring myself to try anything else. I always say I will, but I never do. I am looking forward to returning soon!"

"During our visit to Youngstown to see my sister's daughter, we decided to have lunch at Knafa. We tried the Mezza Platter and were blown away by the delicious babaganoush. The chef's homemade touch was evident in every dish, from the freshly baked pitas to the flavorful falafel, hummus, dolmades, and kibbeh. Our server Bree was fantastic, and both the owner and chef made sure to check on us during our meal. Overall, a great dining experience at Knafa!"

"We had a fabulous dinner last night at Bistro 1907. We have been there several times since its opening, and each time is better than the next. Chef Mark Canzonetta and his staff create such delightful, inventive, delicious courses. From our appetizers, to our cocktails and dessert, everything was top-notch. Our waitress last night, Leela, was very knowledgeable, professional, and sweet during our entire dining experience. As we were leaving, two other employees wished us a good evening. This restaurant is a gem, and we are lucky to have it in Youngstown!"

Parking: Parking is downtown Youngstown, so you may get a spot on the street or have to park further down so it could be a bit of a walk. Kid-friendliness: At Christmas time when they deem it “Miracle on Federal” it’s a fabulous place to take the kids as you can see in my pictures. It’s a Christmas haven fun for the entire family but do schedule reservations."

"WOW that was gross ! Please change your name to ?**** My Pants Allie?. The only thing that was good was the Pepsi, and I have no idea how they managed to get that right considering. The sauces were disgusting. The cheese tasted sweet. The chili was horrible. You may as well boil some meat in vegetable oil and drink it. I was so looking forward to trying this place. I went to their website and was thrilled to read about them having quality ingredients and wanted to try the hot dogs that they brag about. Wow, it was really bad. I can guarantee that nothing in this place is homemade or even decent quality. They should be handing out complimentary diapers with every purchase. If you fancy a go at what would be considered high quality in a third world country, stop by hot dog allie."

"we went last year and really enjoyed the experience. crust was great, so many great veggies, definitiw used the unlimited toppings option. but we went back recently and were very, very disappointed. although on places that serve meat, a certain cross-contamination should be expected, I do not expect it to happen. the workers would put their hands in the keepers containing meat pieces to lay salads and pizzas, then they put them in the sweet. they wore the gloves, of course, but the fact that these gloves went into the cans of meat before they touched everything else was extremely unstoppable. that wasn't the case when we went months ago. the workers were more cautious and used the shovels and at least made it seem like there was an effort not to mix. for a restaurant that goes to offer vegan cheese, it sends vegan customers with hired carelessness with cross-contamination in this grade. be they only warned, all total vegans that would make such a thing. otherwise we had been big fans. we are not going back."

"I wanted to wait for a bit to write my review so I could visit multiple times. But, to be honest I only needed one visit before they won me over. Atmosphere is great, it has a very laid back vibe coupled with lots of history. Their bartenders are all very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The BBQ is second to none. I have had lots of great BBQ and this place really surprised me. My favorite by far is the ribs with raspberry BBQ sauce! You owe it to yourself to give this place a try."

"i cannot believe the memories of my childhood the taste of the Italian wedding soup brought back to me. Natalie, a most gracious waitress. i asked for something not on the menu and they made it for me. veal saultiboca (spelling is bad) but the dish was fantastic. taramaso was out of this world. "I used to live in town here from 2013-2018 and this Taco Bell location is one that you could easily kill 30 minutes of your day waiting in the drive thru lane. I just got back in town and I’m surprised that 4 years later that they are still this way. I am writing this as I wait in line; so far it’s been 15 minutes and I still have yet to even place an order. Come on, Taco Bell. This long and they are still having trouble getting orders out on time? Get the employees what they need to get people moving. I have been to just about every corner of this country and this is still the most painfully incompetent Taco Bell location I’ve been to."

"Wonderful place to enjoy a meal! I don't even need a menu, I know what I want before we get there and it's always perfect!! The waitress was so very nice!! The manager gave us free desserts since it was our anniversary! That was very nice of her too! Excellent every time we go there!"
