"Nice little donut shop in the Foothills. They also make really good breakfast burritos and other menu items. Options for coffee and lattes with your donuts. The only thing I would advise against getting is the Apple fritter. They don't seem to have that recipe right. Tip: on weekends, call ahead for a breakfast burrito and include your choice Donuts along with it. You can pick it up at the pickup counter instead of standing in the long lines."

"On the new Penny Slots we have $6! Updating We went to a casino after dinner first at Lutes Casino where we won that the $6, lol. The Lutes was absolutely a delicious place to eat and the environment so pleasantly busy with historical artifacts and pics. Our waitress was very friendly and could say that she was a professional! This is our first time snow bird in Yuma with our new RV. We will put this on our list of fun spots to take another couple for dinner."

"My son and I sat down to enjoy our turkey bacon, avocado salads. He then made a comment that the people there are very nice and that the last time they were there, the cook, Victoria, had gone over to their table to ask how the food was. By that time I had already experienced what I would call a very positive culture in there. I heard Victoria‘s voice the most, as she was complementing the rest of the crew with positive feedback. She was also taking food orders and making sure that she had read them correctly, while responding with “Yes ma’am,” after requests were made of her. The back-and-forth communications were very positive between the team members and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh. All of my vegetables were cut up nicely and displayed perfectly as a turkey, bacon, avocado salad. Great things are happening in this restaurant. Keep up the great work! Thank you for commitment to excellence!"

"Visited on a Sunday morning, for Menudo. The portion was reasonable and although a little more flavor was needed, for my taste, nothing that a little lime, oregano and diced onions with a couple of cilantro leaves that coudln't remediate. The place is small but cozy and nicely decorated. The staff on shift were friendly and welcoming from the moment I entered. My server Gaby was very courteous and attentive, constantly ensuring I did not lack anything including to drink. Restrooms were clean. The place accepts cash and Debit card payments without an additional fee. Definitely recommended and a must visit soon again."

"I'm new to Yuma I am exploring places to eat, I came in, and the person at the front didn't even acknowledge me, she was too busy texting I said good morning and asked if I can sit anywhere she said someone will come to give me a table not sure if she was on Break or what was going on.. so I got sit it, the waiter was nice but not attentive I have to call him a couple of times for coffee and napkins. On a positive note food was great and came fast easy to park and opens 24hrs, I will definitely go again, hope next time staff will smile more and be more attentive."

"This place was recommended by a local and let me tell you I like pizza or Italian food because I burn well it out with this place I didn't make any sodburn at all, but beyond that the food was really good the baked pasta was delicious and just like the Lasagne sauces was on point, wings are great not the frozen microwave type decent medium pizza margaritas is easy and the pizza really try. And a wide selection of Vino. It has a friendly staff and I? ll recommend people to try this place and it?s in Downtown Yuma, which is beautiful small but beautiful."

"If I could give Freddy's a 100-star rating, I would. Their custard is my absolute favorite! I would eat it every day if I could. I love their vanilla custard sweet balls. They are creamy, rich, and delicious. My only complaint about Freddy's is that I wish their fries were not so greasy, but their custard has me hooked. They also need to update their app. I have not been able to redeem new rewards for months."

"I haven't been to Olive Garden in many years. I'm visiting Yuma and it was close. Well, never again. Awful from beginning to the end. My husband ordered sangria and I ordered a Bellini. The Bellini tasted like tea. Neither was good. The salad came out with very little dressing if any at all. No dipping sauce for the stale cold breadsticks. The meals came. I ordered chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. I received two pieces of chicken about the size of a hockey puck and it tasted like one too. It reminded me of the school lunches back in the 70's. Way overcooked and dried to smitherines! There is no exaggeration here at all. It was horrible. The spaghetti was ok. My husband ordered chicken Alfredo with broccoli. He said it was good, however he left 1/2 on the plate. It really was a horrible meal. And it cost us $80.00. Never again. Folks save your time and money."

"I loved Taco Loko so much. It is one of my favorite spots while visiting Yuma to eat. They have a great selection of different meats for tacos.I ordered birria tacos this time and they were delicious! They have a salsa bar where you can get as much salsa as you like. I was still hungry after the tacos I had and I went back for a lengua torta.They were very quick with preparing food and the staff was very friendly. I love the atmosphere of the food trucks there. "Went in on Wednesday with a craving for fruta picada and they did not disappoint. The girl with red hair was training another employee, and she was so helpful. Gave me exactly what I wanted. The trainee also let me know that mangoneadas can be customized to any flavor, so I went with half watermelon and half limon. Excellent customer service"

"We drive between Tucson where we live and San Diego ,where our sailboat slip is often and Yuma is our gas, food and rest point oasis. We have tried many different eating choices over the years and El Charro Cafe is the very best one we 've found, period, by a long shot. First off, it feels like one has stepped into a small restaurant in a small town off the beaten path in Mexico immediately when one opens the front door. The decor is clean but no frills. Everyone is relaxed, friendly, talkative and unpretentious. All customers and staff are friends, even when meeting for the first time. They 've been in business since 1949 so you know they 're good. How good? The food is all natural ingredients and prepared to order. Big potions. DELICIOUS! I asked for seconds on the salsa that was tangy and fresh. As good as it gets and I 'm an expert as I love good salsa I asked for coffee in the late afternoon and our waitress said I 'll make you a fresh pot! , which she promptly did and then kept giving me refills and smiling and making conversation as she did do. We felt like family before we left. Their prices are very reasonable and they have an excellent tequila bar menu too we were very tempted "

"This place clearly doesn't need any more great reviews and I'm not one to jump on a bandwagon. However, this place is truly 5 stars. Last night was one of those meals where EVERYTHING was great. The tacos, the crunchy chips, the beer, even the small side of refried beans. The service stayed good even when a large party came in for a birthday. Oh yeah, and I think I could eat the green salsa by the quart. The fried fish in the tacos were not too greasy like some places. I can't believe this place wasn't more crowded the times I've gone. Update: The house spinach salad is great and I don't usually like spinach. The ACE Guave was good; way better than expected. I've now had the chicharrones which are AWESOME! They come out sizzling. I've also had burgers which are better than any in town."

"when they made my burrito they picked up the metal container holding the chicken and dirty warm water that the pan bathes the pan dripped into my burrito. i just left. i'm not going to make a scene and there is no point explaining to them how this could are me sick. another time i went there they gave me so much rice my burrito wouldn't close so they took another tortilla and wrapped that over the first tortilla. when i got home it all fell apart"

"I went to this location to try Wicked Tacos but they were closed. I ended up trying Thee Mr. Fish, Fish Chips and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. I placed my takeout order for the fish shrimp meal and was told it would be 10 minutes. The order came out on time and was hot fresh. I didn’t expect to stumble upon a good quality fish chips place on the outskirts of Yuma but I definitely did. They have daily specials and they are open 6 days a week. The fish, shrimp, and fries were very good but the slaw needs a bit more flavor. I look forward to returning and trying one of the daily specials."
