"Great little restaurant with good affordable food and a very large selection! We were passing through town and just by chance stopped at Sunrise Eatery about 3:00pm on a Saturday. We were lucky and got seated immediately but the place was packed, and they started lining up at the door right behind us....it never slowed. That means good food! Average age of customers is about 85+. The place is very bright, clean, and comfortable. The Bulldog Burger (on Texas Garlic Toast) was good, but not great. Toast was overcooked, almost blackened. Southern style chicken and gravy was very good, buttermilk biscuits ...Outstanding!! We wanted to have ice cream (HUGE selection) but just couldn't do it, the food servings are huge. We will definitely return when back in the area. The only slight disappointment was that they don't offer a Military discount, not a deal breaker but the full wall mural in support of America, the military, and first responders would lead one to think they would offer.... Never expected, but always appreciated."
