"Best sushi restaurant I’ve been to in Columbus so far. The vibes and most importantly the food are on point. Apps included shumai and the soft shell crab. Let me tell you…. The soft shell crab was FIRE. Crispy, full of flavor, and paired with a nice sauce. If you like tempura you will love this. Definitely an app for two. Sushi rolls included the 1126, blue fin tuna, monster, and spider. Monster was my personal fave no soy sauce needed. Also check out that presentation tho very on point. Lastly I feel this is a nice date spot. 5/5 will be coming back."

This was my first time at The 1126. I am happy to say I discovered THE BEST Japanese appetizers and sushi in the city!!! Friendly service and a relaxing and fun ambiance! I can't wait to introduce other friends to this place.Food: 5/5

We consider this our hidden gem for sushi. We have a fun tradition where we have our friends blindfold themselves on the way to the restaurant and wait to take off the blindfold once we're inside. We even joke about making them take a vow of silence after dining to preserve the charm of this amazing place. Of course, the blindfold part is just a playful joke.
