"Ob es nun der Ouzo für die "guten" Freunde war kann ich leider nicht sagen. Auf jedem Fall gab es Ouzo vor & nach dem Essen aufs Haus. Eine nette Geste der sympathischen Betreibern dieses griechischen Restaurants in BO-Linden. Ich war hier auf einer kleinen Geburtstags-Nachfeier (13 Personen) eingeladen.Das Ambiente des Lokals fand ich ansprechend und gemütlich.Bei der Speisebestellung wurden Sonderwünsche mit den Worten "...bei uns bekommt jeder Gast das, was er gerne möchte..." entgegengenommen. "Alles kein Problem"Das Essen kam sehr zeitgleich für alle 13 Personen! Qualität und Optik war gut.Lediglich der gereichte kleine Salatteller bedarf einer Überarbeitung.Mein auf den "Punkt" (Medium) gebratenes Lammfilet in Rotweinsauce musste ich noch etwas mit Salz & Pfeffer nachwürzen. Mit den auf dem Tisch mit eingedeckten Streuern war das kein Problem. Fazit: für etwas "Urlaubsfeeling" eine gute Adresse. Ambiente und Essen sind in diesem familiär geführten Restaurant ganz OK. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Somit ist dieses Lokal eine gute Empfehlung."

"Since I only heard good things about the reopened house Henkenberg from my acquaintance, I was there with friends last weekend and I must say that I am totally enthusiastic. Food and service were excellent. I would no longer have expected such high quality at so fair prices. The service was very friendly and helpful. I had ordered a steak that I can absolutely recommend. The meat was beautifully tender and roasted to the point, the vegetables were crisp and fresh and even the frits tasted fantastic with the homemade spices. Another plus is the great ambience that is truly worthy of a steak house. Not to mention the beautiful location. The new operators of the restaurant seem to pay great attention to cleanliness. When we were there, it looked both inside and outside as licked. Both large parking spaces and the area in front of the restaurant looked like freshly extinguished, not to mention the interior. I find it really impressive that there are still gastronomy dealing with so much heart and passion, so I also decided to write such a detailed review here. I'm probably coming over more often. Thanks again to the team of Haus Henkenberg. What?"

"the work is one of the most beautiful buildings in hattingen – as the name already says, an old workshop, beautifully renovated inside, bright and friendly. it is also very central and well visited. the room is in a premium and I find the tables cramped and. this is not the restaurant for an intimate evening meal, because their neighboring diners can 't help but overtake everything they could say. the menu is not particularly extensive (5 of the 9 regular main courses are carving, only with different sauces) and, at all three places we have eaten in this restaurant (the second and third times were on invitation, not by choice), that was a disappointment – on average best, oversalted or tasteless in some cases and always relatiw bad value for money. the menu reads beautiful, but a scavenger is a scavenger and they 'll find better to a fraction of the cost in a pommesbude somewhere else. my biggest grip with this place is the service. Waiting staff are friendly enough, but service is incredibly slow. at our last visit we waited 20 minutes for a menu and another 15 for our order. overall it was good over an hour before we were served and even then some on our table had their order well before others. we had an early reservation (6pm) because we had small (and very hungry) children in our party and the restaurant was 't full, so I can't imagine what took so long. in any case, this was the pattern for all three locations. the work sells itself as one of the finer restaurants in hattingen, but while the atmosphere is beautiful, the substance is simply not there, and it is left to eat by extremely slow service, a boring menu and under average."

"a very nice place to have a meal and taste delicious cakes, cakes and desserts in general. they are very original waffles that are made with a basic of smashed kartoffels. I enjoyed the with spiced cream cheese and smoked salmon. the variety of tees and coffee is very wide and exotic. the perfect place to spend a night after visiting hattingen, with some typical German style streets. the waitress was all very helpful to them and served everything as a very professional quality. I saw a few more tellers over there and they looked as nice as mine, but I didn't taste them. chairs are not very comfortable, but enough to rest during lunch. with each order (drink, meal, dessert, etc. the bill on the table leave, and add it all when they pay after. I recommend this place to stop as obligatory when they visit hattingen. the EC cards (electronic cash)."
