"1816 was one of my favorite restaurants and have taken many people from out of town there as well as recommended more local friends to its location. However, the service we received last Saturday was horrible. We waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated then 10 minutes before we were greeted at the table by our waiter who clearly was very unhappy. He was argumentative with my friend who stated we were ready to order since we’d been looking at the menu for a few minutes, was impatient when asked about the fries, and then made loud blunt comments about the extra charges on the receipts when questioned what they were for. 20/10. This restaurant is fantastic. I've been here several times and it is consistently amazing. The flavors are bomb. The presentation is beautiful. Highly recommend the shrimp and chorizo nachos! Divine.

We have eaten here several times, and love it every time! We have also had takeout a couple times as well. It’s just as good as if you’re there.The staff is sooooooo friendly and Chef Scott is very talented.The atmosphere is beautiful and very relaxing. We love 1816.

Creative menu with unique flavors. Cozy restaurant and just an overall great place. It's small, so reservations are recommended. I would have rated it a 5, but we did wait 30+ minutes to get our food (on a Saturday evening), and the JoJo fries are very thick wedges. They weren't cooked thoroughly, leaving the potatoe raw. Everything else was amazing!
