"The bowls were really good. We had a Shrimptastic, a Classic and a Build Your Own. There was a lot of shrimp and two large fried shrimp in the shrimp bowl. The build your own included a soft shell, crab as a chosen protein, which was delicious. There are many excellent options for components and flavors. The large bowls are substantial. Be prepared to spend about $20 per bowl. The service is quick."

Though one can get dishes such as falafels and hummus many places around town, the intentionality and flavors behind Chef Feras?s authentic Jordanian street food approach really sets American Falafel apart. The falafels themselves are the most flavorful that I?ve tried *anywhere*, and each falafel ?bite? is about the size of a lemon (you can get 5 for $6 which could suffice as a meal by itself! New to food from this part of the world? Ask for a recommendation they?re so happy to help. Even if you just stop in to relax or say hello, owner Mohammed is always quick with warm greetings and a cup of seriously unmatchable hot Jordanian Bedouin tea with fresh mint. "I wish I could give 0 stars for TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered 10 items for my employees, but when the ordered arrived, one item was missing Hot Braised Chicken. I called the restaurant to let them know, and they basically called me a liar. They told me they were 100% sure they put the Braised Chicken on the bottom of the box. I proceeded to tell them that I, myself, gave the food to my agents, one by one, and the last agent did not have his food. I told them I emptied the box (they specified this four times to me), but it was not in the order. The Manager gets on the phone to tell me the same thing and once again, I told him that the item was not in the box. All they had to do was remake the food or refund me, but they would not do either. We went back and forth until I said thank you and hung up the phone. This establishment is so cheap that they could not replace the order that was clearly not in the box. All my agents were with me and double checked the box to make sure nothing was in the box. Terrible, terrible customer service."
