"I stopped by after the posted opening hours (11.00) and there was also the daily menu sign posted outside on the sidewalk board. Upon entering, there was a young lady sitting on one of the high tables eating and talking on her cell phone. I had to politely ‘interrupt’ her phone conversation (as she didn’t go much out of her way to stop what she was doing) to ask if they were open for lunch. She replied that they are open, but the kitchen is not open until 11.30. Wir gingen zweimal in diesem Restaurant in den letzten zwei Wochen und beide waren tolle Erfahrungen gemacht. Der Service war großartig, sehr freundlich und sehr engagiert, und das Essen war sehr gut. Beim ersten Besuch war das Restaurant sehr voll, aber das Essen war immer sehr schnell geliefert. Portionsgrößen sind sehr großzügig. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Als Italienerin schmeckt es zu Hause am Besten eigentlich hab mich sehr getäuscht! Hier schmeckt es noch besser als bei Mamma! Die Pizza ist ein Traum aber am liebsten habe ich die Linguini mit der feinen Tomatensauce und die Crevetten. My favorite da es ein bisschen scharf ist. Meine Arbeitskollegen sind allesamt auch sehr begeistert. Nicht vergessen: Reservierung unbedingt frühzeitig machen da immer viel los ist.

Vor vielen Jahren zufällig entdeckt und nun nicht mehr weg zu denken. Das Essen ist wie in Sizilien und die Stimmung in etwa ebenso. Zumindest oben an der Bar, im Untergeschoss ist man ein wenig verloren und guckt seltsame Wandbilder an. Aber eben, dafür wirkt das ganze herrlich selbstgebastelt. Die Pasta ist hervorragend (allen voran die Varianten Carbonara und Giusi) und auch die Vorspeisen findet man so nirgends in Zürich (Involtini und Bruschetta müssen probiert werden).Das Restaurant versucht zudem auch mit teurem Gaucho Beef zu punkten, aber da hatte ich bislang nicht so tolle Erfahrungen damit gemacht. Egal, denn Pizza, Pasta und Co stimmen und vor allem auch der faire Preis.
