"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."

"This is the best Italian food you can find in South Florida! I was in Italy and the food is not better than here. We have ordered so many dishes here and each one of them is excellent. You really care about a high end. The parking lot is limited on the street, but the Valet is a nice option. Locals go from the beautiful neighborhoods nearby. Update: The last time we were, they tried to push us to turn the table. Some of our foods removed while we eat. Absolutely terrible service last time. 4 stars to lose because we usually get better service."

"I'm sorry as I don't like to say anything negative about service. I am all too aware of how hard servers work, and our was probably around our age, therefore making me feel even more guilty. The food was fine, nothing phenomenal, but certainly nothing bad. The constant mistakes the server made (and I mean there were a lot) took their tool as the evening wore on. While she still received a respectable, standard tip, it was more out of respect for her as a fellow human, rather than acknowledging her doing her job well. This was our second time dining at the Boca Yardhouse and our last. Again, nothing particularly wrong with the experience... but for a moderately priced evening out, there are much better options out there."

"Laura took me to her favorite restaurant tonight, La Villetta in Boca Raton. Despite living in South Florida for years, I had never been before. I was missing out! It was absolutely amazing. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Sal, the owner. He was incredibly hospitable and set the tone for the entire evening. We started off at the bar with April, a legendary bartender who can craft any drink you desire. The food was exceptional. Our server, Daniel, recommended some fantastic dishes. The fresh octopus as an appetizer was delicious. For our main course, we had the special Sausage and Pepper and linguine with white/red clam sauce (which they kindly split for us). If you love Italian food, this place is a must-visit. We ended the meal with pistachio ice cream in a chocolate shell, along with a homemade cannoli. Don't miss out on this special restaurant.
