"This place is lovely and intimate. It has the feel that a restaurant in this sleepy little town should have. The tables are very close together which for me is awesome because I get to look at what everyone else is ordering, but don't go there for a quiet romantic for two dinner or if you need privacy. The evening our party of four was there we had the butternut squash soup, the lobster wedge salad, the fresh greens salad, the lobster roll, the halibut in curry and the ribeye with spinach and mushroom sides. I really love taking friends and family who visit me in Stonington to Acadia House Provisions. This particular time we enjoyed the best burger in Maine and a ribeye steak. We had several drinks which came quickly and the bartender Brad was very entertaining. The serving staff was excellent and the entire experience is welcoming, warm, and everything you'd want for an evening out

I enjoyed a very fine dinner with a couple who I invited to join me. The cocktails were very nicely done, strong, but not overpowering, just as I prefer. My salad was beautifully presented and quite flavorful, and my entree, scallops, was near perfect; with the scallops wonderfully seared. The blueberry desert, served with ginger ice cream, was a stellar ending. A great meal that my guests enjoyed as much as I did

I enjoyed a very pleasant, and intentionally light, dinner at Acadia House Provisions. I started with perhaps the best Wedge Salad I have ever had, accentuated as it was by lobster, avocado and a fried egg. I then enjoyed the Mussels which were tender, yet firm not mushy, and served in a very flavorful broth. Although it was intended to be a light dinner, I could not pass up the Blueberry Streusel served with Ginger ice cream. The Streusel was served in a hot cast iron server and it was wonderful.
