"The food was ok but not super. The staff is always very friendly and seems to care about your well being. My chicken was not correct according to menu but ok. My husbands pizza was ok but not super. The ham on the pizza was boiled not smoked. Maybe that is the custom in Germany. My chicken was loaded with garlic and I did not order that. It seems they just took something they had in the kitchen and served it. Anyhow lively staff."

Fantastisk service, pizza and great house wine. Really friendly and fantastic help language wise, be prepared to book though, got really busy about 20:00

Always when visiting Heiligenhafen we have at least one meal at restaurant Al Mare. (Earlier Ostseeblick). So also this time. We had salmon pasta and pasta dello chef (hackfleisch), both very very tasty.
