"I looked up the best restaurants in Lompoc and found Alfie's, rated at 4.5 stars. In my opinion, it deserves 5 stars. The fish dish transported me to old London or New England, and the Cucumber Wasabi Coleslaw was a unique twist that impressed me. The Hush Puppies were light and delicious, made with cornmeal and no onions. The chefs at Alfie's have some great recipes and the staff is incredibly friendly. This restaurant serves the best fish and chips we've ever had. Even after moving away years ago, we returned to find that it is still fantastic. The fish, chips, and hush puppies are all exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised, especially since seafood in the area tends to be more expensive. We will definitely be returning!

I have been searching for delicious fish and chips since the 80s, and finally found them at Alfie's! The batter on the fish and fried vegetables melts in your mouth, not heavy and greasy. The fish was light and delicate, the chips light and crunchy on the outside and soft like mashed potatoes on the inside. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it tasted. Alfie's, you have gained some new regular customers!
