"As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed and special. Everyone is running around at high speed to make sure you are looked after. Whisked to our table, the requisite shot of ouzo and our drink order were in and served. Our waiter was extremely helpful with the menu recommendations and we were all set for a feast of great dining.The first round was the salad and that was a nice start. Fresh and crisp, what can I say.The main courses arrived and the portions were generous and everything was nice and hot. I had the Bekri Mese . The meat was tasty but not tender, Sort of that middle ground between chewy and okay. It was supposed to be spicy but fell well short. Tasty as I said but certainly not "sehr scharf". A size chunk of frites and the vegetables in the pan were nicely done.The Mousaka was a major disappointment. Aside from it being hot there is much one can comment on in a positive sense. If there was beef in the dish we could not find it. Lots of bland bechamel sauce, a liitle egg plant, but no meat. Moreover, we were convinced it was not done in the over but rather the microwave. The sauce did not have that crunch on the edges that you get from a hot oven. The top layer and edges were chewy.Off night? Bad luck on our part on which dishes to order? Not sure but a so-so meal. I up'd it to a 3 based on the superb service"
