"We liked this restaurant so much we ate there two out of three nights when we stayed in Bacharach in 2016, and made it the first meal of our trip in 2017. The staff is wonderful; warm, friendly, and welcomed us with shots of Ouzo...what more does one want? The large menu offers every traditional Greek dish you can imagine. My favorites are the lamb leg, the giant beans and the green beans. The gyros plate is huge. We started with saganaki, had a lovely bottle of dry Greek wine, and can't wait to return."

"Today in Bacharach it was a damp rainy day and as the Hotel am Market was open we decided to stop by for lunch. We were not disappointed by this at all. We both started with their Chanterelle Mushroom soup which was very rich and satisfying considering the weather we experienced. I had their salad which also had chanterelle mushrooms which was a very generous serving. My partner had the spaghetti with chanterelle mushrooms which was very satisfying as well. Service was friendly and efficient. Only downside was the Milch Kaffee which needed a more robust coffee bean. I would return here at a later date to try their homemade desserts which looked very decadent"

"we stumbled this jewel in our last night in the middle Rhine area bacharach! the couple that ran were real Italians and that was exactly what we eat after French and German food for the past week. I had the pizzeria and my man had the gnocchi. both were homemade and absolutely delicious. the table next to us had salate, which also looked wonderful. are they aware that they only take cash. but there's a cash machine next door."

"We came here after our flight arrived in Frankfurt. Astrid was super nice and happy to speak English with us. I am vegetarian and was unsure about how that would go in Germany. I had the vegetable lasagna and a soup that were both very tasty. While visiting Bacharach, I had a dental issue and she was super helpful in directing me to a local dentist and even made the phone call to arrange the visit. I was very thankful for this and also for the good food."

"Beautiful ambience, friendly staff, well written descriptions of the available articles. My spouse had the flaky cake classic (very similar to the 'Tarte d 'alsace' and found it very pleasant. I ordered the Keltenbratwurst and it was delicious."
