"Die Sonne in Seuzach war für unsere Familie seit der Neueröffnung die erste Adresse für gediegenes Essen in guter Atmosphäre: perfekte Bedienung, gutes Essen, tolle Stimmung. Das ist nach wie vor so, da gibt es nichts abzureden.Was uns aber nun sehr enttäuscht hat, ist die neue Speisekarte. Klar, Nachhaltigkeit und Regionalität soll zuoberst stehen, aber die Auswahl der Speisen hat in meinen Augen doch sehr unter der Veränderung gelitten. Auch die Burger werden innerhalb der nächsten 6 Monate von der Karte fallen...Ich finde es persönlich schade, dass man ein tolles und funktionierendes Konzept jetzt über den Haufen wirft und etwas noch Gehobeners anbietet, obwohl die Preise jetzt schon sehr hoch angesiedelt waren. Ob dies langfristig aufgehen wird? In Winterthur hat man solche Experimente auch schon gewagt und nicht immer war der Erfolg garantiert.Man wird es sehen, wo die Sonne in ein oder zwei Jahren steht. Wir jedenfalls haben uns von ihr verabschiedet und werden künftig anderswo ein Cordon Bleu oder ein Stroganoff geniessen."

"Food was very good. We had very, very long waiting times. We waited over 2 hours for the main course. Unfortunately, things didn't go any faster after that. It was clear to us that there would be more activity at Easter, had we fully understood. But unfortunately there was a lack of organization and staff here. The staff was understandably overworked. Unfortunately, that's not possible for me if you want to have a separate bill and make some kind of not-so-great grimace because it might be too complicated to split the bill. Therefore unfortunately no more stars."

"The Bahnhöfli Oberi is my favorite restaurant in Winterthur. Since I (still) live on a subsistence level, I can rarely go out to eat, but when I do, it 's good. Mother invited me to dinner yesterday and so we were guests in the evening. Although it wasn 't our first time visiting the Bahnhöfli Oberi, we were impressed by the charm and of course the food again. I was very stressed in the afternoon and hadn 't eaten anything properly. But when we sat down under the cooling plane trees in the garden restaurant, which is very carefully and comfortably designed, and were served in a very friendly and attentive but yet uncomplicated manner, I felt really comfortable. The garden pub is wonderfully protected from heat and strong sunlight by a hedge and a shady cover of leaves from the plane trees. Red, green and blue lamps are mounted on the plane trees, which provide a pleasant light when it gets dark. The other guests seemed to be engrossed in quiet but cheerful conversations, which created a very comfortable atmosphere. You feel like you 're in a little oasis in the middle of the hectic world. Mother and I both ordered boiled meat salad. I garnished, mother didn 't garnish. We were both really impressed with the salad plates we were served. Both the garnished and the simple boiled meat salad, the plate was beautifully arranged with a variety of salads in different colors, textures and consistencies, some with individually tailored dressing. The portions are generous, so even hungrier individuals like me can get full. I 'll be back"

"Clean, friendly staff, food average. The Caprese was two slices of tomato, no seasening, some limp salad leaves, a really good mozzarella. The liver was expected to be piccante , meaning a chili lying next to it? And who serves liver with noodles? The ice cream would make every Sicilian ice cream maker cringe. Frisco? It was okay, not a place to go back to."

"Wir haben uns spontan entschlossen, wieder einmal dieses Lokal zu besuchen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und bekamen einen schönen Tisch im Aussenbereich unter alten Bäumen. Zum Mittagsmenu wählten wir eine Suppe resp. Einen Salat (alles frisch und hausgemacht), danach gab es Stroganof mit Rösti (auch alles von der Köchin gezaubert). Getränke: kleines Bier und ein Mineral. Alles sehr gut und der Preis für 2 Personen: CHF 60. Total! Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder."
