"After a day at the Portland Zoo, we were looking for some good food—homestyle food since we’re from Texas. Also wanted to be able to sit down and have someone wait on us and take our order. Decided to try Banning’s and are we glad we did! All the food was fresh and tasty, and the service was excellent. Large portions, good flavor. We ate outside. And then we got chocolate cream pie! Hard to choose from their huge list of pies. Soooo good!"

Home-cooked meals without all the work. Staff was friendly and quick service. Steak was cooked perfectly. Steak tips had a great sauce. The chicken marsala was delicious. Kids meals were good sized portions. The desserts looked amazing, but we didn't have room to try them.

reminds me of sharis, but larger parts, house made and authentic. I recommend the chicken pot pie and French toast. the mimosas are also a big hit. it is about 56.00 and it is a great part. the personal was very professional and the environment was clean. definitiw back to use this beautiful outdoor terrace.

First time visiting Bannings and it's definitely a place to stop by for home-style all American food. I had the fried chicken which was really good! It was a little greasy for my personal taste, but that didn't stop me from eating the whole thing. The potatoes are buttery and delicious. The service was exceptional. I'm pleased with my experience here! I'll be back for more!
