"Great little hidden gem tucked away in Port Royal! Food is always fresh and well prepared. Service is friendly and excellent. One of our new favorites! Make sure you call for a reservation unless you want to sit outside though because the dining room is small. Update: This has been one of our favorites for a while now, and has gotten even better under the new chef. Had an amazing meal of mussels, French onion soup, seasonal salad, and prime rib with Chilean lobster tail and pasta Alfredo. Rich, yes; decadent, yes; and 100% worth it. Flourless chocolate torte and chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert, and we were ready to roll out the door. We will be rolling back next week!"

Amazing Prime Rib. Best in Beaufort. Perfectly prepared, amazing taste. My wife had the scallops and they were outstanding. Extremely generous portions.

The food is the best in Beaufort. Swordfish Oscar on scolloped potatoes, French onion soup, crab cake and sticky toffee pudding to die for. Run, don?t walk to Black Dog.

My wife and I ate there and it was awesome from start to finish. Food and service were wonderful. Very small quite place. We started off with a wedge salad and a tuna appetizer,, both wonderful. My wife had the prime rib and I had the seared scallops, both wonderful. We finished off with a chocolate cake and key lime pie that were fabulous. It was a great experience!!!
