We arrived at 1:30 pm on a Monday and had a 1 hr wait which was spent exploring neighboring boutiques and sitting in outdoor seating offered by the restaurant. Plenty of parking was available.Service was pleasant, and they were able to accommodate our large party of 10 people. It took a while for food to come after ordering, but it all was super yummy and huge portions. Shrimp and oysters are huge. Appetizers are definitely sharable sized. Roasted brussel sprouts are amazingly good. I would highly suggest inquiring about pricing on MP listed menu items so...

Delicious food! I had the buffalo shrimp appetizer and it was enough for a full meal and absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Nags Head area. A bit of a long wait but you must, must go here :DAnd they had this very cool painting of shrimp that I thought I had to share here because let's be honest- it's awesome

it just happened to see good reviews on a dining place when we were looking for. dang! I had never expected it to rival my favorite wars and grotten along the outer. not contemporary garnel and grits, but it is something to try. will be most likely to eat here more because of the better choice of food. our server nate was great. there is a waiting list and the food needs some time to arrive. but overall, definitiw one must visit when they are on the obx.

We visited Blue Moon as a last minute decision on our final night in the Outer Banks. The food was delicious and there are a decent number of local beers on tap as well as unique cocktails to try.I would recommend arriving a little before the dinner hour to get a table, as we were able to beat the crowd by coming at 5. There is quite a bit of seating inside and outside but it does fill up quickly.Service was great and the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying the Buffalo shrimp, which was a delicious twist on a classic wing appetizer. The fish tacos are pretty good, although they could have used a bit more seasoning.
