"My husband loves this place. He sees a local doctor and then wants lunch and a beer here. Today he ordered the fish and chips. I ordered a rack of ribs with beer mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. We ended up switching meals because the smoked spices on the ribs were too much for my palette. The coleslaw tasted like mayonnaise with a little cabbage so I left it on the table. Our waitress was excellent!!! We were also impressed that the lady behind the bar came down the ramp and seated us promptly. (We’d had a longer wait in the past which was frustrating. My husband enjoyed drinking the Embalmer and I had a specialty cocktail with peach bourbon. Both were tasty. Our shared s’mores cheesecake dessert was delicious!"

"I have been going to Bobs since 1975 and 95% of the time when it is a GIANT TUNA. Since I am a Tuna Sub expert, I must say they are super consistent. The sub, bread included tastes as delicious today as in 75!!"

"The food is great, the drinks are good, but the staff is incredible. They are just so unbelievably nice. The one waiter just absolutely made my little girl's day. I won't say what he did as I don't want others to try and take advantage (call me a pessimist), but it was the nicest random act of kindness I've witnessed in years. Literally brought tears to my eyes. Such a wonderful experience, we will return. Again and again. Thank you so much."

"If I could give “atmosphere” six stars, I would. We loved the wood paneling and overhearing the regulars chat over their morning coffee. We also enjoyed the free copy of “Movin’ Out,” the trucker’s newspaper, where we were able to enjoy a long and poetic rendering of the town’s hard-earned celebration of freedom in the guise of an essay on Fourth of July fireworks. Pancakes were supreme. Light and fluffy. Omelette was less than tasty due to the unfortunate inclusion of Kraft melted cheese. Home fries were spot-on. Free coffee refills will always put a smile on this girl’s face. Would return."
