"Had really high hopes for this place because of the ratings. My partner and I stopped at this restaurant while on a long roadtrip for dinner. This food was in no way authentic, there was no flavor, and not even seasoned. The waiter we had didn’t even give us 5 minutes to sit down and decide, he kept coming up to us asking if we were ready to order. By the third time, in less than 10 min of being there we decided to quickly order because he kept coming to our table. Since we didn’t know what we wanted yet, he just sat there and stared at us while we were trying to figure out what we wanted. Super impatient service and I’m a server myself, he had no reason to be like that because the restaurant wasn’t even busyI got the mahi tacos, the taco were so bland and my partner got the beef cheese dip which was also bland and super oily. We spent a total of $39 on our dishes and two drinks then proceeded to pay with $20 cash and the rest on card. When our waiter came he took the card only then left, my partner caught up to him and gave him the $20 letting him now how to split the payment. Instead the waiter took the $20 as a tip and charged the entire dinner on the card. We were not tipping him, his service wasn’t even a standard or serving ettiquete. We didn’t have water the entire time were sat and deciding on food. Obviously we were frustrated, so we had to ask him to refund us and split the bill as requested. If you think it had to do with a language barrier, keep in mind that spanish is my partner’s first language and the waiter spoke spanish perfectly also. So he knew what he was doing because he had a straight up attitude and no remorse when we asked for him to do the payment again and refund what we were charged. Just incredibly rude and no customer service standards whatsoever. My partner is currently waiting on the $60 refund still. Don’t go here for non-authentic mexican food and for a scam."

"I don’t eat out much, but when I do, I want good quality food. I’ve been going to Martino’s for two decades now, and I’ve watched it change from a small family run place in a small community to a more busy family run place in that same, albeit slightly larger, community. The food is exceptionally good. You can’t go wrong with Boar’s Head meat and homemade desserts. Everything about the place feels like someone transplanted a quality deli from up north to an extremely southern small town, and somehow they have perfectly merged. Whenever we have guests in from out of town, I make it a priority to get them up to Martino’s if possible. People are universally impressed, and they always ask to go back. If we show up at peak time, the line is out the door, and I’m fine with that. It’s good enough to wait for. The only negative is that it’s a family business, and they are closed at some times when I wish they were open. I don’t know why people think they should be able to ever see their families or sleep. What are they thinking? I might need an emergency roast beef sandwich with garlic knots on the side!"

"The Table has a great atmosphere with beautiful oil paintings on the wall, chandeliers with twinkling lights, a great antique bar and very comfortable seating . The tables are not to close together. The food is wonderful as arecthe drinks and the attention given us by host, server, bus staff was all phenomenal. A great restaurant we hope to return to soon!"

"This is such a cute coffee shop located in downtown Mebane. There is a lot of natural lighting and lighting in general. It has a very welcoming feel with a tiny shop as soon as you walk in and a coffee shop to follow. There is a good amount of seating, coming in around 11 AM, was maybe not the move as all the seating was taken. I ordered a sweet scone, and it was decent.Typically, when I visit a new coffee shop, I always try a flat white, and I can tell you that this flat white was just OK. The espresso tasted slightly extracted, so definitely not as smooth as I would like, but it was still good. I think I would try this place again at an earlier time. Parking: There is parking behind the building."
