"Let me just tell you if you want to make real authentic Italian cuisine from real Italian people, then this place is for you. Unreal, how good the food was! I had the veil Parmesan, but I was happy enough to taste every plate at the table. Everything was just a breath. 5 stars is an understatement for this place. Will be a long-term customer. BRAVO!"

Excellent food from the ground boiled, cozy atmosphere, excellent waiting staff. A hidden treasure for Shure.

The staff really went out to take us last night. We sat outside with our dogs (the 4 paws for the meat balls give). Veal Lorenzo is supposed to die well. Good selection of restaurants and wine. Family atmosphere.

This restaurant is amazing! The staff is friendly and funny, the food is amazing and authentic, and the atmosphere is cozy and picturesque. Our new favorite Italian restaurant! Definitely recommend anyone looking for a delicious Italian restaurant in Birmingham.

"My partner and I went here for our anniversary last night and it was wonderful! We loved the atmosphere and the service was wonderful. "Googled restaurants nearby and chose this one solely on wanting Mexican. The selection available not only suited my picky nature but also my coworker who is a vegan. The patio seemed very chill but was packed so we dined inside where it was dark and a little too loud for my taste. But the food was delicious and served very quickly. If I came to the area again I would definitely come back to Rojo."

"My husband got the fisherman’s ciop and it was not good at all. Very watered down and not a good flavor. I however got the shrimp scampi and it was great! Our server was awesome and very attentive and polite."

"Last evening our UAB doctoral cohort, our families, and mentors, enjoyed a wonderful graduation celebration dinner in the Glass room. It was an incredible evening of food, fun and fellowship in a lovely setting. The room was well prepared, and the staff were incredibly attentive and meals for all were cooked to our requests, from appetizers through the main course and dessert. A variety of sushi, calamari, oysters, and shrimp was ordered and loved. The main course was wonderful as well (too many to list but the surf and turf was off the charts), and the desserts, especially the carrot cake cheesecake and the pecan pie cobbler were devoured. The wine drinkers in our group were also complimentary of the selection. All in all, a great experience and the staff were wonderful, from planning the evening through closing out the bill. Great job!"
