"First time at any eatery in Ashland! We ordered starters around 4. Had the place to ourselves: . Beet stack, Avo-toast, grilled cauliflower and broccoli, a few bitters from the bar-I like the chocolate! My pasta was the artichoke Gorgonzola ravioli. Wonderful! Server was also attending bar and did manage to get us fed and happy before the rush. The high seats near the window give a nice view. Beautiful elegant building. Rustic with traditional bones! Recommend!"

While the food and service is always good here, the main bartender was not do great. Maybe he was upset about something or not happy to be working on Valentines day. Other bartenders were more than cordial with us, so they made up for his lack of personality and grumpiness
