"For reference, I would rate subway as 1 star and firehouse subs as 3 stars. I ordered the tuna salad sandwich and it did not disappoint. Well worth a try for anyone who likes sandwiches."

"When you sit at a table you are required to take the 4 course meal. We had cocktails to start which were weak for the price point. The 1st course was good. Gnocchi were fresh though too large to eat out lf a tiny cup. The crab toast was overpowered with red peppers killing the delicate flavor of the crab. The salad course was too out there for us. A salad with some lettuce would have been nice. None of.us ate the beets but the other option was not any more appealing. The main course was the most disappointing. The pork looked and tasted like a $5 pork chop from the grocery store. It was tough and flavorless and the sauce tasted like something from a jar and wasn't appealing. There was zero wow factor or love In this dish. The steak was also a disappointment. It was super thin and fatty. Reminded me of steak and eggs from the waffle house. The pasta dish was fresh and the best of all. The lemon tart was Tart and overall good. Ice cream was standard exactly what your would expect. Again nothing made us say wow. The wait staff was excellent snd the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting. I would not return for this disappointing menu but may try another night once it changes."

"You can call ahead 30 minutes before arriving. They don 't take reservations. This place was packed. We went up around this area Saturday for the Aerosmith concert. I came here a year ago I always wished I could have that pizza again. We lucked out and got seated immediately. It is a bit loud in the main hall. They do have a specials menu. They also have gluten free options. Our waitress was accommodating and had a good sense of humor. The Best Damn Pepperoni Pie was damn good. The balance of flavors, the kick from the peperoni, the freshness from the oregano, and the softness of the ricotta made it a great pie. The dough is made locally, as well. A very nice wood fire pizza. The pulled pork sandwich, Like Melted Gold was also really good! I liked the slaw on top. Added more spice, and the texture from the slaw was good too. The sauce was a nice touch as well. The buns weren 't all drenched in sauce and they weren 't soggy soft yet firm. My friends enjoyed their meals drink. One had The Sweetest Mess , she really liked it. The other had a gluten free crust pizza, and she was impressed by it. The other had a hot dog, and he really liked how the hot dog bun was grilled. They can give you just a regular hot dog, too, if you want. They give you mustard and ketchup when asked. The fries were good as well. Our waitress was very nice and had a sense of humor. I noticed that the Fear The Fungus burger on the menu said If our mushrooms make you hallucinate, please inform us immediately so we can overcharge you . I asked the waitress if she 'd still overcharge me if I hallucinated from any of the other food. She said no. : Great experience."

"I am a native of bangor. I don't live here anymore, but I'm never gonna get a blow when I come to visit. that was the best experience! I felt like in the inner city of boston. the roads lived with a contagious summer energy. the outside seat area was large and almost full. I decided to sit inside. I sat in a window seat and enjoyed the eclectic look of the people who migrated. I am not too old to enjoy a beautiful landscape. I'm sure there were some of them. (view photos) my waitress, tyra (left) was exceptionally sweet and very attentive. the bartender was friendly and makes a stellar drink. for those who are unfamiliar, sits blaze in a building that is more than 100 years old. in the cellar there is a nuclear subsoil. nextdoor is the charles inn. it is considered by some as persecuted and, once presented in the hotel impossible al brady was rejected by fbi just outside both buildings. In 1937 he and his band came to bangor to buy machine guns from a local sports shop. the fbi was tipped off. the shootout was described as a spectacular weapons battle (see wikipedia.) when they come to bangor, do not miss it, in this beautifully renovated restaurant rich in history and ghost sitting"

"Came for lunch with family, from out of town. Kris helped up us select a meal and drinks and was very patient with our banter. He was a great addition for our family experience! Would recommend dinner or lunch with Kris serving us!"
