"I have been to Carmelo's many times and usually love my meal and can't wait to go back. Tonight was a different story. My boyfriend and I made a reservation at Carmelo's to celebrate our anniversary as it's usually one of our favorite places. Tonight it took a very long time for us to get our drinks, my boyfriend asked for lemon for his water that he had never received. We then got our appetizer after a little while of waiting, which was fine. After we saw tables around us who were seated after us receiving their bread, we then had asked for ours because we never received it. After maybe a little over an hour of being at the restaurant we got our food. I got the shrimp and scallop limoncell...

We asked our waitress for recommendations and had a bruchetta as an appetizer. It had fig in it..It lived up to her description and was delicious. I had chicken carbonara which was also delicious..the food, atmosphere and waitress made the dinner very memorable. I was on vacation so this was a real treat!

I usually order a pasta or seafood dish but felt like meat this time and ordered the signature Bocconcini a La Marsala, medallion fillet with green beans and vesuvio potatoes. The meat and sides were saturated in sauce, overspilling on the plate and drowning each ingredient, not to mention the lukewarm steak. Stick to the pastas and seafood and if you want steak, order the surf and turf or rib eye.

"We adore Perfect Caper and visit as frequently as possible. During our recent visit, we opted to share an entree (Pappardelle Mushrooms) so we could try a variety of appetizers. The heirloom tomatoes mozzarella salad was an absolute standout, making my mouth water as I think about it. The steamed mussels were as delicious as ever, and my personal favorite was the fried hen of the woods mushrooms with the amazing ricotta/goatcheese/truffle oil and magic sauce. Simply incredible."

"Hosted a family event for my graduation party and honestly should’ve picked anywhere else. It took an hour alone just to get drinks and 2 appetizers with portion sizes that made the restaurant seem like they were rationing their food supplies. Entrees roll out and my mother was handed the same dish twice, both incorrectly prepared but her boyfriend didn’t even get his food until 20 minutes after all the rest of the table did. A couple of us had foreign objects in our water glasses that weren’t even returned when we brought it to our waitress’s attention. I had way higher expectations for this restaurant especially for this celebratory occasion."

"John Ski's House of Breakfast and Lunch in Punta Gorda Florida gets a two thumb from this reviewer. First the food... I ordered the crab cake Benedikt with land potatoes and sausage sword. The big lump meat proved to be the best I had here in Florida. I can't stand crabcakes filled with bread. These were slightly fluffy and full of taste. The eggs were picked for perfection and the Hollandaise sauce whether it was a package or homemade that I could not say. It was good enough for me to think it was homemade. The sausage sword, although a little thick for my pleasure was bursting with taste. Coffee was amazingly strong what I love. And the water was just as important. We're very big, but not overwhelming. It's always nice to go home for a little snack. And that's exactly what I did. Service was fantastic. Attention and courtesy. My meal came out very quickly. But it didn't look awkward. The owner was on the property that worked the register and came and had a conversation about the Detroit Lions with me. I didn't tell him my real sight on her, but we had a bang. the place is a little hard to see if you do not know where to go or follow your GPS exactly. But if you miss it, you will miss a fabulous meal in a fabulous decor. Food and service speaks for itself in quantities of people. I say it can be very busy by about 10 o'clock if that helps."

"You won't find any entre for $10 like they say maybe spring rolls. I spent $20 for water and soup. It should cost $12.50 after the normal rate of inflation but asian is just as greedy as any restaurants in America! DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! RIPS OFF AMERICANS!"
