"I read many recommendations at Internet which said that was one of the best restaurants in SF and had the best views. Ok the views are fabulous, but it’s not difficult being at floor 52nd, the food wasn’t very bad, but I expected more, they force us to consume a minimum of $25 per food, drinks apart, and the service was HORRIBLE, the maitre was very unpleasant after spill all the sauce at my mother for the arm and back. After that he didn’t give any apology and did nothing to clean my mother. I don’t recommend this place very expensive and the service HORRIBLE!!!!"

Great view from the bar of this restaurant at the top of the BofA building. The food is very overpriced but it’s a great spot to have a drink and watch the sun set.

The Carnelian room is a nice little restaurant, but pretty overpriced. Service is pretty stiff and cold, not warm and inviting like it should be. I didn't have any problems with the staff but after reading the other reviews I could definitely see the staff's stiffness coming across as unapologetic and uncaring.

This was my 3rd visit and we were disappointed to discover the Main Dining Room was contracted to a private party and we were crammed into one of the private party rooms. The adjacent private room was a wedding reception with live music, which made it hard to converse during dinner. Upon exiting, I told the maitre'd that we should have been informed of the arrangements when we made our reservation. He disagreed, saying that the room we were in was part of the restaurant. I am inclined not to dine there, anymore.
