"Excellent prices and good portions! The menu options provide enough food. I ordered the tostada and found a mountain of fresh salad with not too many beans on a crispy corn tortilla, the avocado and salsa made it fresh and fill. The children loved rice and beans children's plates and the little ones ordered a burrito (that they eat halfway... . The service staff was welcoming and friendly and the decor was bright and interesting to look at. The children held details and noticed them."

Good Mexican Restaurant, which offers a variety of traditional dishes plus additional steaks. Portion sizes are quite large the dips can be quite spicy. The prices are reasonable. If you are in the area, this one is worth checking out.

Our outside, shaded table had a an excellent breeze blowing through on a 100°F afternoon. My margarita although a little sweet for my taste, hit the spot. Against my wife's wishes I ordered the vegetarian chimichanga and loved every bite.

"Here for breakfast on July 4th, and so glad that it is open and early at 6:00. Great place to eat and solid people and service was amazing. General portion sizes and people were beautiful and loved the shields inside also coffee was super This is the best place for bfast when you are in or near Yosemite. The food in Yosemite (Bfast) is not so good or worth eating compared to this diner. Will be back."

"I stopped here with my teenagers after exploring Mariposa. You order at the front and find an open table in the dining room or front patio. It was a Thursday so we only waited about 20 mins for our lunch. Kids liked their burgers and loved the seasoned fries. I got a chipotle chicken sandwich which was delicious on a yummy bun. There's parking behind the building, which helped cuz that's one busy highway."

"We stopped on a Monday when they opened. The French Dip is definitely a hit! If you sit outside, it smells amazing that the smoker is out there and will definitely build your appetite as you wait. The bartender was super helpful. I forgot my glasses and he helped me find out what beer I couldn't read. It is dog friendly on the terrace. Our Malinos gave the French dip two a few paws. If you want an old school type bar experience with amazing food, it is worth checking out. Also you just want a drink, it is worth switching on for a beer and customer service!"

"I was here twice for breakfast and was not disappointed. My friends and I ordered chorizo breakfast tacos (Saturday special), chicken fried steak, waffles side of apple sausage, steak, cookies and gravy, and French toast. We haven't had a single complaint with the food yet. Had Scones of Critters and Coffee that bought it from this place, as well as that was really good. If you are on the way to Yosemite and want to stop for breakfast, this is where you want. Really nice staff, and I heard that this place is really busy. If I have any reviews, no ton of parking is when you come later, and you may need to wait a little longer for your food, but I think it's worth waiting."

"1850 is something you can enjoy and worth a stop when you visit Mariposa. They have a decent menu and a good range of beers. The vibe of the restaurant/brewery is very cabin like. They have a lot of seating indoor and outdoor. They have a small bar area outside the patio with plenty of seating. They do not come out and serve you menus. You need to get a menu from the inside and order inside when you're ready. Also, they have a self server water station near the restrooms. The service was great outside. Host Paige was really great about getting what we needed and asked for. She was very nice and checked in on us. The initial hostes in the front desk must have been having an off day. She was a little salty towards my partner when she came in to order, and then when my partner asked for water, she was upset and told her it's self-serve. We did not let it affect our experience and enjoyed our food. The food was pretty good. I got the shroom burger, and it was pretty tasty. The meat could have had more seasoning, but the flavor from the sauce and mushrooms was on point. Also... it was perfectly cooked med rare. The wings were a little dry , and the flavor of the sauce was good, but I would add more sauce to balance the dryness of the chicken. That usually happens when you fry too long. I also had their berry stout.... it was delicious!!!! Ill definitely be back to get a crowler of it. My girlfriend for the turkey Sammie, and it was pretty dang good along with the sweet potato fries. The garlic on one of our friends' fries had a bit of a powder texture to it... but they loved their burger, and the last thing we got was I believe the salmon patties ... those were so good!!! The sauce had some great flavors. Overall we will be back, I may try the Buffalo sauce next time on the wings, and I'll definitely be back for more of that stout."
