"Sometimes you just have to stop what you?re doing to be sure to tell a business that they?re doing it right!! Proper BBQ!! First visit today but have been anticipating for quite awhile. I love good bbq, especially ribs but hate them covered in a lacqueredand sticky bbq sauce. I was apprehensive being in kind of the middle of nowhere in NJ (near where I live). Ribs were dryrubbed with just enough sweetness and the meat was perfectly juicy and came off the bone with ease! Flavor was of pork and notcompletely covered by sauce and spice! I got the vinegar based Carolina sauce on the side which I readily dipped into over andover again?nice tart vinegar tang, spice a tad of sweetness and celery seasoning on the finish. Sides were great too! Collarsand Mac and cheese. Too dangerous that Local Smoke is local to me?you just gained a new regular!!"

"We wanted something local that wasn't far from the base. That's just around the corner, so we thought we'd give him a chance. Everything was really delicious and fresh. I had the Maryland style crabcake. They were perfectly cooked. The tarter sauce style dressing on the top was not my favorite, but it was easy to pull off. My wife had the pumpkin pesto chicken with potatoes and not rice. The chicken was extra moist and taste able. The potatoes were also delicious that they tasted homemade. We will definitely come back in the future. Make sure to ask Jill to be your server; She was great and on top."

"Great place and by far the best pizza I had in the area. I always talk about how big pizza is in NJ, and not all pizzerias deliver, but it does. Some minor problems when picking up an order (they have accidentally given my food to someone else or made the wrong pizza), but these things happen and it has not distracted from their great food. Every pizza I had was excellent. My wife enjoys her sandwiches and is obsessed with her shrimp salad. We try to order almost once a week as we really enjoy their food. Obviously with pizza it is easy to get the kids also enthusiastic. If you're in the area and you haven't checked this place, you're missing."

"Finally stopped in to this quaint, off the beaten patch breakfast/lunch diner/cafe. Hit it out of the park. Went back a few days later it was so good. I had a basic breakfast, but the BEST part was that they served SCRAPPLE! it's not that easy to find! 2 different cooks on the 2 different days, so 2 different presentations. Both were both!! This will be a regular place for me going forward. Great for singles sitting at the counter, or 2 or 4 people in the booths. Also 1 BIG booth that seats 8+. All locals like me from what I could tell. Try it, you'll like it!"

"Wise with friends and absolutely loved. The staff was great, amazingly friendly. It had a wonderful atmosphere. You can call ahead to receive reservations (do not know that we would not get to our party of 4 but call in the future). Really enjoyed their Auberginen Rollatini!"
