"Wow. WOW!. My wife and i live a block away from chio. we went reluctantly after another nearby place had a mysterious waiting time of 90 minutes. Just an FYI we've been very lucky to have eaten in some of the finest restaurants in the world. I am also Italian, and it has always saddened me that no restaurant nearby has ever served authentic Italian cuisine with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Great food. Also tried their papaya salad. Has a bit of a kick to it but we made sure to clean the plate fully because it was that good. Our appetizers (wings and salad) filled us up so much that we ended up taking our meals home which is going to be my lunch soon. Additional benefit is that if you pay in cash, you get 10% of your bill. It is also close to the water that you can walk off those calories. I will be going back!

Must visit. This is food and drink that delivers not only satisfaction but delight, and comfort. Great care goes into the selection of high quality ingredients and preparation of the food, with the recipes containing contemporary twists along with a familiar, time-tested approach. Wine and beer selection addresses the menu expertly. The warm atmosphere has added to the great taste of the food, and Chio has warrented several visits in the last few months
