"I will preface by saying that I prefer authentic Mexican food over white-washed “Mexican” food which is unfortunately the impression I got from this place. The food was fine but lacked real flavor. The rice and beans were bland and my shrimp tacos were mostly lettuce. It’s a cute spot and the drinks look good, but better food can be found in other places."

Solid 3 for a person who’s spoiled by Mexican food in California. Apart from that the portions are big but it lacks of flavor. I don’t feel it was worth the price but it’s Mexican food in an island so I guess it’s ok.

Margaritas were good, my friends said tamales were delicious, I wish they have a vegetarian tamal or taquitos dorados… What the hell is Mezquila btw? I ordered Mezcal Margarita I didn’t get that. Chile relleno was delicious, Quesadilla was alright, ok bye. I’ll be back.

It 's okay, but wouldn 't call it homestyle . I do come from an area with pretty much the best Mexican food so my standards might be a bit high. The cheese enchilada was pretty good. Best thing about it all was my wait person, she was super nice, wish I had caught her name.
