"I ended up at the Thirsty Duck on a random Friday in February. I must say this place blew away all expectations. The other customers were nice and fun. The building was huge and CLEAN. The host live entertainment like Bands, and Magicians. They even had bowling in the basement. The staff was friendly and attentive. What I liked most about The Thirsty Duck was how they perfectly mixed the look and feel of a downtown bar, but it still had the warm welcome, relaxing atmosphere and prices of a corner bar without all the riff raff. I defiantly will be grabbing another drink or two next time I am in the Area."

"Good quality food everything. Steam Engine is great, just make sure you don't burp afterwards. Had the Reuben with Curly Fries and it was delicious. Would highly recommend it and I'm surprised I didn't get it sooner. Oh and almost downed my Guiness before the sandwich. Happy St. Patrick's Day!"

"One of us had the Mexican Thursday special. The chicken chipotle burrito. The burrito was packed with cubed potatoes. So disgusting. Tiny little pieces of chicken. Like barely any chicken at all. Nothing else. No lettuce, tomato, cheese, rice, peppers. Just potatoes. $15.00 for that! I?ve given you guys like eight chances and only because Sussex doesn?t have many options. The picture on the right is from google images. That?s what it?s supposed to look like. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was good. A very disappointing night out for a $60.00 bill because one of us left saying it was the grossest thing he?s ever eaten. No I did not tell our server Austin because I could tell from the beginning he wasn?t the type to care. I also asked if you had cherry vodka and you didn?t. Five minutes later I see the other bartender use raspberry vodka. That would have worked. I wish Austin would have gone a little above and beyond and recommend another option. I always say, if you wouldn?t eat it, don?t serve it."

"Don't judge this book by its cover. Although this place might look a little sketchy from the outside and inside, I can assure you, this place is for real!! The food was fantastic. The owner/chef told me everything is homemade and believe me...you can really taste the quality and passion that is put into the food. We ordered 3 different pizzas and all were very good. The crust and sauce were outstanding!! The one test I like to do to see if a restaurant is quality or not...is the coffee test, order a cup of coffee. If the coffee is fresh, good, and smooth, you know the chef pays attention to details in his kitchen. This coffee was very good, smooth, not bitter, and fresh. Best pizza place in Waukesha County!"
