"The waiter was very friendly. Our son met my husband and me here for Father’s Day. We haven't been to Applebee's for a long time because my husband stopped going after they took the orange chicken bowl off the menu. The location near us has turned into a teenage hangout in the evenings, which I don't mind, but it doesn't cater much to families or older couples. However, the Audubon Applebee's, where we used to go from 3:30 to 4 in the evening, was excellent—quiet, friendly, and clean. We enjoyed the two-for-$30 steak dinner and loved the garlic potatoes. I thought the portions were generous, with what looked like two large scoops of potatoes. For me, it was more health-conscious portions without feeling too full (even if we took a little home with us). The only issue was my husband, as part of his steak was a bit tough for some reason, while the other three were good. We definitely want to visit this Applebee's again."

"I decided to try the fried chicken taco deluxe box. You would think it would be the chicken taco as the star. What a disappointment! One little chicken nugget taking up 1/3 of space in the tortilla. If this promotion was supposed to get me to buy the new chicken taco, well you failed miserably...I will never buy it again, based on this experience."

"Good selection of beer and food. Friendly staff, decent amount of seating. Weather permitting there is outdoor seating. You can also sit at the bar or eat in the dining area. Wish I had gotten a photo of the plate of loaded fries, it was a meal itself! Reasonable prices, good sized portions."
