"Finally made it to Daddy D 's and now I feel as though I 've cheated myself for not going sooner. My trifecta is good food, served by good folks, at good prices and Daddy D 's exceeded expectations. I went for catfish, but didn 't realize they had a buffet so I was treated to fish, chicken, and pork chops. I 'm a fan of the fish chicken but when served a pork chop fresh from the kitchen I had to try it, and it was the best bite of my meal. For sides I 'm usually good with collards and mac n cheese, but they had lots more. Rice and gravy, black eyes, yams, tater salad, but the pintos got my attention. A bowl of pintos with their cornbread would 've been a fine meal on it 's own! If this type...

If my last meal came from here I wouldn’t be mad! SO GOOD and staff was great and friendly!

Little slow today, but buffet was still fresh. Hope the construction doesn't hinder their customers. Nice down home feeling and attentive service.
