"I used to visit the original Datz all the time when I was stationed in Tampa. I took tons of family and friends there. The riverview location is a Sad imitation! We were greeted pleasantly. Picked a seat outside got the table wiped down, ordered a sweet tea n water and an appetizer.. The sweet tea was nothing more than sugar n water . We never got our appetizer. Our waitress had some kinda meltdown or something and walked away from the restaurant. We let one of the employees know that we were leaving since we didn't receive out appetizer or get a chance to order food. He apologized and said he'd try to get the manager but it could be a moment so we said no and excused ourselves. It's just s...

Such a treat to have a just egg omelette with vegan cheese AND oatmilk for my coffee! The atmosphere is really fantastic as well.

Coffee and pancakes were good. Portion of the food you order is great. The service would have been better as there were multiple instances where the details in the order were missing. Fruit along with avocado toast didn?t look fresh.

Atmosphere is pretty cool and the staff if great at helping you decide what meal to get. They are very knowledgeable of the menu. We got the Cuban and the Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh was good, though it could use another slice of cheese and Mayo. The chips they give you are amazing! Its so much food, but that didn?t prevent us from getting desert after, though we did take it home. Ended up trying the brownie as we walked to the car and finished it before we left. We also got the cookie and it was good, though the peanut butter brownie was AMAZING! We will be back to try more of the delicious comfort food!
