"By far one of the best aesthetics we have experienced in a local brewery. The station next to this brewery certainly added to our joy. The bartenders were very engaged and professionals in the trade. The beers were great and eat well. We got a sampler and enjoyed the brisket, corn bread and wings the best. The ribs were very close to being done and would have been great with more time. We came early to hit the crowds and make sure we get parking. We were happy with the price tag in the end for everything we ate and drank. Do not hesitate to try this place. It has many good functions and looks like it could grow. We could see why!"

4 stars primarily for the food. The portions are great and the ribs were awesome in my opinion. Atmosphere is good, lots of space so finding seating wasn't hard. Unfortunately I'd give it a 3.5 for beer, while it isn't necessarily bad, I found the flavours to be a subdued and lacking a little.

This place is really a treasure. Since many breweries are limited to very few types of beer, Defiant goes against grain and offers many. It's delicious. A recent visit to the xmas eve had tried us Stouts, Christmas ales, Oktoberfest, Belgium three times and more. While I enjoy everything they have to offer in BBQ, their smoked wings stand out most. You're just the best wings I've ever had. I sound like a fan boy because I really am. The hotel is located right on Pearl River Train Station, making a day trip to Defiant from NYC a no-brainer.
