"Family dinner outing in search of a great steak led us to this restaurant which was out of the way from the strip of other restaurants. No high chairs, probably because it's more of an adult type restaurant. Although, they did offer 3 choices on...a kid's menu! (Typical chicken nuggets and fries type). Beware that the kids menu numbers are the SAME as the numbers of the side dishes. Be sure to specify what you want. We ordered #50 which was chicken nuggets and when our food came out we were given baked potatoes (which also happens to be #50). very satisfied with our dinner. excelent service and excellent eating. I will repeat that they reserve a table, it was even full on a Tuesday night.

Die Kleine Rosteria sounds pretty Italian, but is in reality more like a fusion kitchen with elements from Germany, Italy and European cuisine in general. Located in one of the small streets in Weiden, it looks a bit inconspicuous, but on an ordinary weekday the...place was pretty full, and it seemed to me that there were quite a number of repeat customers. Most likely it is advisable to book a table in advance, as it is a fairly small place (around 26 30 seats at the most as I recall). I chose the grilled lamb chops with grilled vegetables, as I like lamb very much, but too seldom makes it at home.
