"I heard a sign for her on I-81. The place is enchanting, and the staff was very welcoming and sweet. Outside, our mouth had watered with the smell of smoke pits! The potato salad and the Coleslaw were delicious, and the taste of the ribs was delicious, but we were disappointed about how they lacked tenderness and any kind of Char. Very little of this tempting smoke was in the flesh. The fat was not made at all, and the meat was not easy to get out of the bone. While it was cooked by enough to be considered done, it took more time or the least served hotter. Needless to say the sauces were great, the sweet brown was phenomenal! I could put the sauce on my shoes. I'd go back there at the pass...

As a Chicago who loves southern food, the departure of the highway to find this jewel was a true blessing. True South Food in the Real South. Great experience!

Great barbecue and they have their own sauces which are great. Outdoor seating and if it's raining they even have indoor seating within a garage that is finished with a bar, flooring, deco and tables. If you like BBQ, check this place out

Enjoy the barbecue on the way south. Not the best BBQ we ever had, but they met the high points. Appropriately expensive, good portions, delicious sauces. I had the salad! Organic salad sauce with shredded cheese and tasty pulled pig. They had a homemade ranch dressing that was very delicious. Hubby had half the chicken with a crispy skin, but a bit for his taste... it doesn't like to see red on the bone. Came with lush puppies and pretty green beans. Baked cucumbers were good diving in their new Alabama sauce. All in all a good lunch on the street!
