"This was my first time dinning at Etaru. First impression was the well designed interior but then we sat down for an interesting experience. Employees are poorly trained. I ordered a pinot grigio and the waitress brought me a pinot noir, which did not pair well with my meal, but I decided not to say anything. Then my partner and I ordered two rolls for the table, 1 tuna (for his preference) 1 salmon (for myself), and they brought over two tuna rolls. It did not end there. No one come over to ask how the meal came out or if we needed anything. It took me 10 minutes to get someone’s attention. 10 minutes!! We love the food. The manager is great...very customer service oriented. It’s great for date night, special occasion...any reason. Try the sea bass!

Amazing food, great atmosphere. The octopus was incredible, as was everything else we ordered. We ordered 5 courses and each was better than the last.

This restaurant is an expensive treat yourself special occasion business meal type of restaurant. Portions are small and prices are high relative to those portions. That said, the food cocktails are fantastic and I’ve never been disappointed by what we’ve ordered at the table. Would recommend going with people who have similar taste so you can order to share whether you have two people or a large group. Would not recommend if you’re not at least a little adventurous with food because they have a lot of really exquisite, unique dishes that are worth trying.
