"Loved this place. Stopped on my drive home from Palm Springs. Authentic and charming old time Yreka establishment with great food. Staff was very friendly as was the owner. We had a great conversation about various things and she sent me home with a big meatball for my dog. It was so good the dog only got half. Will be back next time I'm in town."

"I love this place! What a beautiful and magical place to eat and shop! We found this place through a happy accident that drove through Cali. The staff is so friendly and cheerful! The decorations, the art, the food and the whole ambience of the place is amazing! I enjoyed the avocado and grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes bisque soup, my nabeby had the spinach and bacon quiche with Clam Chowder, delicious! And for dessert, a divine lemon bar! Everything was homemade and fresh, even to the beautiful flowers on the tables. Whenever we go to Cali, we will stop here every time! What a beautiful experience in every way! I even have a glittering Sarong from India!"

"When I stopped a song dinner at the Black Bear Diner in Yreka, my dinner was so good. Ordered a club sandwich, wheat bread and not toasted. Said the waitress, wanted to shine so she wanted to leave the middle slice of bread. Perfect idea! The side was sweet potato fries. It was so good! Completely recommend Black Bear Diner!
