"Spent a day in the pools and had dinner that evening. Dinner was good. The pools were okay. I guess this hot springs thing is just not my thing. My wife enjoyed it though. We did not get a room so I'm not sure how that went. We were supposed to get a room but they had no hot water, which is ironic at a hot springs. Anyway, I do not have a recommendation either way. Perhaps if I would have stayed there for a night it would be different."

Very disappointed about the restricted access to the hot pools. The hot springs are the highlight of the area.

Expect for $230 per night You certain things like hot water in your shower. We traveled out of town and in about 6. They closed the pool bar at 8 p.m. and the pool at 10 p.m. They opened the pool bar until midnight when they closed the pool. An increase in prices and a decrease in room quality and services offered in the hot springs of Fairmont have negatively affected the operation.

The walls are incredibly thin. We were entertained and often kept awake by the neighbors' conversations and arguments. Doors slamming throughout the night, etc.The rest of the experience was great, however. The staff was helpful and nice. The pools are awesome. A lot of kids tho. I didn't imagine there would be so many kids and at the indoor pools that means it's LOUD. The security staff was great about keeping the rules unforced tho.
