"Wasn't too sure about this place, when I saw the reviews. But there aren't too many options for lunch in Flam. We didn't want pizza, so we thought we'd just have coffee and a quick bite, after checking in and before heading on our afternoon safari. We may have been lucky in that, by the time we checked in and freshened up, a few train loads of tourists had already departed, so it wasn't busy. We had the smoked salmon and the goat sausage. Both were lovely. While the sausage was a bit fatty for me, he loved it. They had run out of apple cake, but we ordered the chocolate cake with our coffees. It was a nice light home made style cake with just the right amount of cream. Also, the coffees were on point. The staff were lovely. Given that we had come in at the tail end of lunch, they were relaxed and so much fun to chat with."
