"1st timer disappointed. I ordered Salmon. When it arrived I could tell by looking at it it was way overcooked. The piece was actually hard. Salmon is expensive and to see a cook ruin it like that makes me think twice before coming back. The waitress Ihad was so kind. The front staff were all pleasant. Thank you. I will return but only for dessert. Not sure I trust your linecooks for a meal."

"Alrighty, I love the vibe here. It's a lovely space, nice staff, and the beer selection is the best in town.The food is lacking on many levels which is a symptom of the high staff turnover. The spinach artichoke dip is mostly cream cheese. The chorizo dip has no chorizo. The buffalo dip is basically only jalapeno with no actual buffalo flavours. If you do stuffed jalapenos you've got to clear at least some of the seeds so there's not extreme variation of spice in each bite. Blue cheese can go bad (smells like lemon pledge) and when it does don't put it on a steak. If the steak is supposed to be cooked medium, well done is not cool. If someone pays and the shift switches, don't lose their money and ask for another $70. It feels like Brick house is sabotaging itself and if there were other options in town that offered similar food at the same hours they would actually be forced to step it up.All this being said, trivia night, open mic night, and the overall experience is still decent. Just go in with the right expectations."

"We went on a Friday night, so the only thing that was available was Prime Rib in different sizes, served with a salad wedge and a baked potato. Honestly, it was the tenderest and most juicy steak I've ever had. Perfectly medium rare. I wanted to save half my 12oz for lunch the next day, but it was so good I ate everything! We went to my birthday, and they brought me an ice cream with chocolate syrup and a candle, but they don't sing annoying song. It was perfect! Definitely 5 stars!"

"Stopped at Red's with a new college student and the experience was lovely! The space is open and welcoming and the food overall was quite good. The steak well, definitely a top 5. Given the high end feel of the restaurant, there were a few service issues. It took a few minutes to be acknowledged and seated, and we waited about 10 minutes to place our dinner order. After bringing our food, the waitress said she would be right back to check that we like dour food and to bring some steak sauce. We were nearly finished when she returned (so no refills on beverages either . My sense is that she was new, but I would still expect more from a place offering steaks over $30. The rib eye was delicious. Tender, flavorful, and delicious. The other meal was an asparagus salad with steak tips ordered rare. They were medium (but rare is tough with small bits of meat! and the asparagus and other veggies were VERY buttery/greasy, and salt was a little too plentiful. Sides and mains were generously sized. All in all, definitely a place I will return and recommend! In a larger city, it would qualify as an incredible value for the money, too!"
