The place was very quiet but the meal was excellent, We both went for the lamb shank, which was beautifully cooked with a nice selection of fresh vegetables on the side. Pleasantly suprised. Breakfast buffet also very good."

Wonderful hotel full of charm Staff are great and the breakfast was superb Our two day stay was a joy and very restful Would highly recommend

The hotel is right on the railway, so not far to drag your cases. We had two nights here, including dinners. No menu as such, just a choice between meat and fish! Venison was cooked perfectly. Breakfast is ok, again I'm disappointed by the lack of proper sausage and bacon!
