"This was one of the rougher visits to Big Boy I've had in a while. It's usually good or what I'd expect. This time was pretty lackluster all around. The server was pretty bland uninterested in being there. And while, I don't blame her, even a forced positive disposition is appreciated. I've done this kinda work. I know how hard it is to hide your lack of enthusiasm. Again, any kind of attempt is appreciated. There was no attempt made here... I got one of the open faced omelets. It came with the sausage gravy on it. This gravy's consistency was way off. It more closely resembled animal vomit than country gravy. I ate it... it tasted OK? But the look of it was pretty off-putting. Not in a hur...

Good menu choices. Seated promptly. Our waitress Elizabeth was very good and made sure that the food was what we expected.

I had the 3 eggs breakfast bowl and it was very good both the 1st time and reheated as well as the omelette my husband had.
