"We generally go to Oxford house once or twice a year. All of our past visits been amazing and we have always considered this a special place. Unfortunately our trip here yesterday was not up to the past standards. Our meals were just okay. And our waitress seemed to forget that we were there. My husband had rainbow trout which lacked flavor. I had the pork dish and it was okay but not amazing. Bartender in the basement was really awesome and she makes great drinks. The octopus appetizer was really superb but quite pricey for the amount of octopus you actually get. The grounds are still beautiful and that in itself might keep us coming back."

"we drove through the opposite and decided to stop and get a few bbq. 302 west restaurant was packed and busy, but the service was really great. we have the 302 pig out with an additional order of tweebel rings. eating was good, but I was a little bit perplexed because the whole order of the two rings was only 7 small rings. That was so strange that I asked the server and she said it was for $3. we enjoyed the meal and my favorite were the ribs. very tasty."

"My family members and I arrived at this location after having been riding motorcycles all morning. 2 members in our group wanted to stretch their legs for a about 10 15 minutes before sitting down to lunch.We meet at this location 3 to 5 times a year when we our group gets a chance to ride together. On this day while I was waiting for the others to return, as in they had been walking less than 5 minutes, one of the employees that I will refer to as a jackass, gets in his black Ford F 150 and as he is backing out, he doesn't even ask our intentions but just tells me to get all 3 motorcycles out of his parking lot or he will have them towed away and that he will have a tow truck there in 10 minutes. I tried to explain but he just would not listen. He simply stated that we were no allowed in the parking lot and that we are not allowed to meet there. I hope this baffoon does not run this place but as long as he is there, we are taking our business elsewhere. It is sad because this has been our preferred stop for the last 5 years. "Thanks to Heather and staff for serving and caring for our party of 10. The platters, burnt endz and fries were delicious. Ribs juicy and cooked to perfection. Unique cut of potatoes made for tasty crispy fries. The warm cookie with ice cream was a wonderful shared dessert. Our private dining area was warm and quiet. Laurel and Hardy's life sized figurines were fun but gave the presence of another person in the room. When I am in the North Conway area again, I would definitely stop here again."
