"This small, very loving and cozy restaurant we chose as a place for the birthday party m family circle. From 10 80 years, every age was represented and to take it forward: each family member was culinary and personally really a l e r b e s t e s and all around happy, rich and bright! The owner runs this restaurant with Spanish cuisine with heart love, which is not hidden for every guest. The menu is not an endless book, but very selected and clear what I personally appreciate, because no kich can cook everything well! I can confirm, however, even if it is of course pure taste, we have here everything from the available fittings (very abundant selection! more than cost, you would simply have ordered very, very tasty new!!! The most important foods were very good for young people due to the delicious tapas, only two selected Rindburgers. The short fairy of the cow with rocket and Parmesan was only divine!!! Three days later, the water comes together in my mouth! The meat was so delicate and delicious! The desserts rounded off the dream of Crema Catalana about Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet or span. Cheese plate with quince jelly fantastic! The beverage card also offered everything Kond Kegel tastes. The service was very friendly, fast and intrusive. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. (How bad!) I will definitely visit this place with the arrival from Munich again, it is in the upper middle class and every cent is worth spending here! The THYMIAN is a true pleasure and wants to be sure that a place should be reserved!"

"Via a small road that leads to a gravel slope at the end and which belongs to the matching name brick stadium, you will come to the restaurant Schatzberg-Alm with a beautiful beer garden. From there, in good weather you have a magnificent view of the mountains, between the trees the radio station Raisting stands out and around the corner you can still see the last corner of the Ammersee. We were there for coffee and cake, there were homemade pear nut cakes and potstrudel with a delicious latte."

"Das Wirtshaus am Kirchsteig ist ein ganz einfaches Wirtshaus, wie es früher in jedem Dorf eines gegeben hat und wie man es sich wünscht aber selten findet. Vor dem Haus ein Biergarten unter alten Kastanien und einer Linde. Die urige Gaststube rundet das Bild.Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, dafür werden die Gerichte jeweils von einem Koch frisch zubreitet, der sein Handwerk versteht. Ordentliche Getränkekarte aber nicht überkandidelt. Die Preise sind der Lage angemessen und akzeptabel.Wir kommen immer gern hierher zum Abschluss einer Wanderung in der schönen südlichen Ammerseegegend.Parkplätze auf der Straße vor dem Wirtshaus."

"In July, shortly after the opening in the Ammer Winkl, I was a casual candlelight dinner. The owners Anja and Thomas Schachtner have built a Kleinod here in the restaurant rooms of the former va bene (there are also next door, but smaller). Newly refurbished and decorated while maintaining the magic of the place (old farm) and upgraded in style. The result is a cozy, but tidy and significantly reduced guest room that underlines the charm of the old house. For that, a big praise! The same applies to the farm and the outdoor area, where you can also sit and eat. The kitchen still tops the whole thing, as does the service. The combination of the warm, attentive and perfect service of Anja and the really excellent cuisine of Thomas are almost unbeatable and make the Ammer Winkl a real highlight for me if I want to eat properly. Excellent 100% self-made cuisine at a very high level. Focus on local suppliers where possible (meat, fish) and on best quality where not available locally. Another highlight is the Smoker of Thomas and the event room, which can be rented separately, right next to the restaurant kitchen. Absolutely recommended for friends of upscale, unrepeated gastronomy!"
