"George and Dragon Review TERRIBLE! Avoid this place! Disgusting food, dirty interior, extremely poor service and they have shady practices when charging your card. This place has the rudest owner, manager I have ever seen… I mean ever! On TWO separate occasions, they added over $50+ in false charges to my credit card that did not belong to me. AVOID like the PLAGUE!! Decided to check this place and ignore the bad reviews about the terrible service. BIG MISTAKE! This place has the WORST bartenders of every institution I've ever been. Our blonde bartender took our order forever, and was the most unfriendly person I found in the food industry. Very bad. We were so horrified and withdrawn from this horrific attitude, we left the place after our first order, not even disturbing to take a swallow of our drinks. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Decided to check this place out and ignore the bad reviews about the horrible service. BIG MISTAKE!. This place has the WORST bartenders of any establishment I have ever been to. Our blonde bartender took forever to take our order, and was the most unfriendly person I have come across in the foodservice industry. Very nasty indeed. We were so appalled and taken aback by this chicks horrible attitude, we left the place after our first order, not even bothering to take one sip from our drinks. There was a 25-minute wait for food, which was going to make it difficult for me to eat anything within the 15-minute window before my surgery. "Not sure how Durant 's gets to be rated best of Phoenix so many years in a row. From entering the restaurant through the kitchen which creates a breeding ground for bacteria to the old school dreary, dated dining room....not a palatable and welcoming environment. Then the sticker shock of the menu. $15-18 for iceberg lettuce salads? $80 for 12 oz filet. This is mainstay Phoenix, not New York City. Waiter was ok. Food was under seasoned.When we said we couldn 't have any of the potato choices as an included side, we asked for a vegetable. We were charged extra. End of the meal we weren 't asked if we wanted coffee. Won 't return. So many better choices in the area."

"The following night, we tried two other restaurants but were not given good service at either place, even though they were not busy. We ended up back at The Arrogant Butcher because we knew we would receive top-notch service. Graham, our server this time, recommended the spinach and artichoke dip (as Stephanie had) and we also tried the burrata radiatore and BBQ short ribs. The food was once again fantastic, and the service was exceptional. If you find yourself in Phoenix, be sure to stop by The Arrogant Butcher for an unforgettable dining experience."

"If you are looking for vegetarian comfort food, then Pita Jungle is the right place. With its extensive menu there are several veggie meals and page options. It is also one of the few places in Phoenix that sells a Veggie burger with Portobello fungal cap in contrast to an eagerly processed soy or cornpatty. No complaints about the ratio of quantity to costs. Fill me up. Desserts are good. But the food is oily."
